The First Ever Patagonia Community Poll
So I've been curious about this for a while now and I'm finally pulling the trigger. I'd like to know what you like about Patagonia. I've set up a poll question and I'd love to hear your responses. Interestingly, at least in New York City, Patagonia became last year's brand of the moment. Rather than being the iconoclast that I had been for the previous 20 years, I suddenly became a trendy person. Curses!
Hmm, slightly disturbing. I guess it's nice that people recognize quality, but man I hope I don't have to fight off teenage boys with Zac Effron haircuts to buy my Patagonia gear.
I think the fact that Patagonia isn't easily accessible (both in availability and price) will keep it a fairly unique brand. Of course when I'm in need of a new jacket/bag/other piece, I scour the internet for great deals on Patagonia stuff. Hopefully others don't take the time to do that and will buy the first North Face thing they find. :)
No slight on North Face--they still make some quality products. Just saying that they're available everywhere now.
