Video of the Patagonia Ultralight Down Shirt

While there is a new video of the Patagonia Ultralight Down Shirt on patagonia.com, it's not yet up on YouTube and I don't have the technical skills to slice it from the Patagonia site.  So for now, you've got a video from the good folks at SteepPlanet.com that does show the general fit of the Ultralight (albeit with bizarre music and poor lighting).

New Spring Styles at Patagonia (Including the Ultralight Down Shirt!)

 Now on the Patagonia website are some of the new spring styles.  Among the items is the Ultralight Down Shirt--a new class of down shirt.  At $250 it's 25% more expensive than the Down Sweater Jacket which seems a bit odd to me, but it seems destined to become a Patagonia classic.  The aesthetic is kind of a Spiderman/The Thing look--very unique in that great Patagonia-form-follows-function way and, I'm guessing, very warm. Looking forward to seeing one in person soon.

Patagonia Ultralight Down Shirt

I just came across this from backpackinglight.com.  It's the spring 2011 Patagonia Ultralight Down Shirt which debuted at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show back in August.  Patagonia has gained notoriety with their lightweight down products and this takes it to another level.
